Replacemant window scrapers for 1 peice windows Monday, 29-Jan-01 23:36:41 Message: 206.58.84.13 writes: I'm looking for some good replacement window scrapers for the 1 peice windows in my 56 oval.The ones that were in the car when I got it were trashed do to pore design and the previous owner did a bad job installing them.Do they make some with the curv allready in them up by the front of the door. Try Machine 7 in the UK. They do good quality scrapers with the clips moulded in and they are felt lined so they slide on the glass nicely. They are straight and not curved at the ends, but are the best ones that I have managed to find in england.

i had a similar problem with poorly designed scrapers in one piece window kits. I live in oregon so rain is a real problem. My solution was to use the snap in scrapers that came with the kit and then take a rear decklid seal (long thin one) and glue it around the window outside the scraper. For me this was a perfect solution and it is totally water tight now. The finished product looks like it was made for this application too and it curved perfectly around the corners...just use a water proof sealant...hope this helps
