carb problems Wednesday, 05-Jul-2000 17:19:20 Message: 152.163.201.46 writes: I have a 2007 with a set of 40 dellortos (yes i know 48ida's rule). Anyway my problem is when I take off hard there is a hesitation or stumble then it goes like hell. Runs fine if I take off easy, also if I punch it at around 2500-3000 rpm same thing. Engine has 7.5 comp,40x35 heads ported with matched manifolds, 110 cam,1 1/2 merged exhaust, scat 1.25 rockers. The jetting on the carbs 150 main,180 airs,60 idles,35 acc. Any ideas on what to look for? If anyone does its the CLF guys and girls. Thanks in advance. Bob Bob

The stock jetting on Dellortos is usually very close. But not always. Look down the carb when its NOT running and push the throttle. see if you get a good steady stream of fuel out of each of the pump nozzels. Are your carbs opening at exactly the same time? Good luck, Mark H
